🏛️ All About the Romans
Long ago, a group of people called the Romans lived in a big city called Rome. Rome is a famous city in a country called Italy.
The Romans were very powerful. They had a strong army of soldiers who marched to different lands. The Roman army even came across the sea to live in Britain.
The Romans changed Britain in many ways. They built the very first long, straight roads made of stone. They also loved to stay clean and built big, warm baths where people could swim and chat together.
