| Minutes: Digital Leaders reviewed entries submitted for the Digital Learning Competition and discussed the high quality of work produced across the school. Pupils recognised that learners had demonstrated creativity, digital literacy and confidence using a range of digital tools and applications. The group used agreed success criteria to judge entries fairly. Criteria included: Creativity Effort Digital skills demonstrated Quality of presentation Originality Digital Leaders reflected positively on their work throughout the session, including: Supporting the Digital Schools Award Scotland journey Promoting positive digital citizenship Developing the Digital Heart Charter Raising the profile of digital learning Gathering and responding to pupil voice |

| Agenda: Planning the CRIS Assembly |
| Minutes: The Digital Leaders met to begin planning their upcoming CRIS Assembly for pupils across the school. The purpose of the assembly is to promote positive online behaviour, online safety and respectful communication when using digital technology. The group discussed important themes to include within the assembly, including: – cyber bullying – respectful online communication – safe use of AirDrop and messaging features – speaking to a trusted adult when worried online – using technology responsibly in school and at home |
| Action Plan: – Create Keynote presentation to share in front of whole school assembly. Digital Leaders to complete first draft of Keynote presentation. Pupils to create and rehearse speaking parts. Staff to review presentation content before assembly delivery. Digital Leaders to prepare videos and digital scenarios. Final rehearsal to take place before the whole-school assembly. |

| Agenda: Digital wellbeing and responsible iPad use Creation of the Craigroyston Digital Heart Chart Planning the Digital Learning Competition Promoting pupil voice |
| Minutes: Digital Leaders discussed what positive digital learning should look, sound and feel like across Craigroyston Primary School. Pupils reflected on the importance of using iPads safely, respectfully and purposefully to support learning. The group worked collaboratively to create ideas for a “Digital Heart” Charter which would outline expectations for digital learning across the school. Pupils suggested key messages including. Digital Leaders discussed ways to raise the profile of digital learning across the school and agreed to organise a whole-school Digital Learning Competition. Pupils suggested a variety of competition categories to allow all learners to participate and showcase their digital skills. The group discussed how the competition would support the school’s Digital Schools Award Scotland journey and encourage creativity, confidence and responsible use of technology. |

| Minutes: – 10 keyboards – Digital Leaders think that these keyboards should be available to classes to use during lessons – Children prepared and presented a short podcast to share across the school regarding appropriate use of airdropping – Children keep changing their iPad passwords and forgetting what they are |

| Minutes: 1) Most children were present today and keen to get started in their new role 2) Ms Edwards talk about the Digital Schools Awards and our plans to use technology supporting pupils to learn, be creating and stay safe online. 3) The Digital Leaders, raised the following: They would like accessibility to keyboards, when using the iPads. Several P6 iPads are asking for Apple ID’s for an update. Some children are using the ‘airdrop’ function in class, for non-educational purposes. They feel that work in class around ‘cyber bullying’ would be beneficial. Ms Edwards raised: – Ms Edwards showed the Digital Leaders the new trolley for storing the shared iPads. The Digital Leaders emailed Mrs Favier a request, for a trolley, for moving the shared iPads around the school.. – Ms Edwards asked the children how often they use their iPads in class. The children said they use their iPads every day, but did not know how often other classes used their iPads. Some said that they would like to able to take their iPads home. |
